Dura/Vent covers are made from a new patented three-layer composite fabric. It contains a micropourous film sandwiched between two layers of soft and tough polypropylene. The Micropourous film has pores to small that liquids and particles cannot pass through, but moisture vapor still escapes. It is an excellent design for prevention of mold, mildew and ice buildup. Other covers are simply weather resistant, but the Dura/Vent cover is waterproof during all but the heaviest downpours.Independent labs have tested Dura/Vent against the competition for water resistance and breathability.
