The 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T with optional 426 Hemi was not necessarily the best-looking Mopar on the street. With its divided "loop" bumper/grilles, the Coronet looked a bit swollen. Unfortunately, with all this came the penalty of higher insurance premiums. And while street racing was surely a thrill, 1970 was the peak of the muscle car era, and this was the last year that the Coronet was built.
