Outer shell is made of a specially-modified injection-molded polycarbonate alloy to absorb most impacts and resist penetration. Contoured to fit one-piece polystyrene inner shell helps absorb any left-over shocks. Comfortable foam interior has stain and sweat-resistant plush black microfiber nylon lining�you'll stay more comfortable when the weather turns hot. Flip-up ratcheting face shield is made of clear optical-quality, injection-molded Lexan� and has a center tab for one-finger adjustments. 5-position ratchet assembly for face shield is concealed under the screw-on plastic side pods (painted to match helmet).
