Once activated, system will attempt to start vehicle 3 times, then it automatically shuts off. System also shuts off by pressing a button on the transmitter, opening the hood or pressing the brake pedal with key in the "on" position. Press another button on transmitter to lock/unlock existing power door locks. Open existing power trunk/hatch release by installing relay (sold separately). Kit also includes two 3-button transmitters.
