Fingertip-adjustable air vents are located on the chin bar and forehead. All vents are black, except white on white helmets. Color-matched air deflector/defuser scoop covers exhaust vent on top of helmet and maximizes airflow by pulling air from open chin-bar and forehead vents up and out of the helmet. Deflector/defuser has 3 front openings and 2 rear openings. Helmet liner is removable for washing or replacement. Stronger and lighter than fiberglass! Outer shell and chin bar are made of revolutionary Tenntex?, a unique alloy of polycarbonate and other materials that's stronger and dissipates impact energy better than fiberglass or conventional polycarbonate. Aerodynamic Tenntex? outer shell is balanced to help prevent wobble at higher speeds. Shell is sanded smooth, then painted with quality paint. To achieve the deep luster of the metallics, only ultra-fine flakes are used. High-gloss clear polyurethane protects the painted finish?also allows effortless soap-and-water cleanups.
