Patented roll-formed perforated internal tubing with its integral spiral rifling cause exhaust gases to spiral outward, reducing sound volume and harshness without affecting flow. Stainless steel matting wound around the main tubing further reduces harshness and also lowers internal temperatures that can damage the high Kilotex fiber matting used to minimize unwanted resonances.
