ONE-WIRE ALTERNATORS One-wire, direct-to-battery hook-up Choose 60-amp, high-output 80-amp or high-output 80-amp with chromed housing Install easily�simply mount alternator, attach belt and hook up to one 10-gauge wire (order separately). Bypass hard-to-find electrical problems that are caused by ignition switch, volt gauge, external voltage regulator. Rugged, dependable GM-type alternator has built-in current-monitoring voltage regulator to activate charging automatically whenever needed. Re-manufactured to exacting tolerances using new bearings, brushes, voltage regulator and diodes. Include single-groove pulley. Alternator for 6-volt systems replaces original generator�no need to alter remainder of original 6-volt electrical system. Fit all vehicles with OE 40- to 65-amp GM alternator without modification; mounting in other vehicles may require fabrication of mounting brackets. For negative-ground systems only.
