When permanently mounted to vehicle, steps fold up and lock in place when not in use. Special temporary mount bracket lets you slip steps on/off as needed. Aluminum steps are easier to carry, approx. 1/2 weight of steel, 250-lb. capacity. Steel steps have 300-lb. capacity. How to order: measure from mounting point to ground.
