Conventional sealed box with the same size woofer requires nearly 8 times the power to produce the same SPL (sound pressure level) as Bazooka�! Amazingly accurate simulation! NOS8 is shaped exactly like a nitrous oxide bottle�features a spherical end cap, nozzle at the top of the cylinder, automotive-grade high-gloss blue painted finish and the wiring looks like a braided hose gas connection. High-performance woofer includes UV-resistant coated paper pulp cone with oversized cone reinforcement cap, twin-layer compress foam surround, stamped steel basket, 28-oz. ceramic ferrite magnet assembly, extended pole and high-power/high-temperature 1.5" 4-layer voice coil. Entire area of cone (front and back) is used for sound production�conventional sealed enclosures use only half that area for decreased sound pressure level. PVC composite material is lightweight yet more rigid than ordinary enclosures to withstand much higher pressure levels.
