Chrome-plated billet aluminum housing and stem Sure to get attention�especially when your bike is surrounded by larger vehicles. The high-intensity LEDs on the convex mirror glass are invisible until you switch on the turn signals. Then, they light up brilliantly to form a directional red chevron for all to see. These handlebar-mounted mirrors are positioned at eye level of adjacent drivers, making them more noticeable than conventional taillights. And since the LEDs illuminate faster than conventional taillights, they give drivers in blind spots more time to react. Mirror head is adjustable to achieve the best viewing angle. If you have OEM forward-facing signals mounted to the OEM mirror stems on an '82-95 Harley-Davidson� cycle and you want to continue to use them after you install these mirrors, you will require a 2" long 5/16"-24 piece of threaded rod.
