Sea Fury .60 Size Gold Edition Kit
In 1942, Britain's Royal Air Force saw the need for a good long-range fighter...but it was the Royal Navy which picked up the Fury and introduced it to their Air Fleet in 1948. Christened "Sea Fury," it proved a capable warrior, and in 1949 set a speed record flying from London to Rome. No surprise, then, that the former warbird is often seen today at such events as the Reno Air Races -- which in 1999 featured eight Sea Fury contenders.
