The Solid Brass Romanesque Sundial
A close cousin to bronze, brass is mostly made of copper with small amounts of other minerals. Brass is a little bit lighter in weight than bronze and does not traditionally have a reddish hue. The Brass Romanesque Sundial has the mottoe -Amidst the flowers, I mark the hours- inscribed. It is vased on the Romanesque architecture of the 12th century France, which is preserved in period churces and cathedrals throughout Europe. The majority of brass garden art is given some kind of faux patina, as opposed to polished brass which is more popularly used for interiors. Brass is a great middle ground price point that's a bit higher than cast iron, a little less than bronze. 8.5 inches in diameter. SKU: 774R2475 Category: Decor
