This rather outlandish medical thriller revolves around physician Steve McLaren, who is gulled into selling dangerous herbal weight-loss supplements by an old friend, Ted DiGiorgio. In addition to causing weight loss, the supplements increase female sex drive and slow the aging process. Unfortunately, they also cause profuse vaginal bleeding. Eventually, Steve agrees to help the FDA mount an investigation of DiGiorgio, who may or may not be deliberately diabolical.
