Combat Swimmer by Robert Gormly

    Combat Swimmer by Robert Gormly
The combat memoirs of a Navy SEAL who served in the Vietnam War. Gormley maintains that American military strategy in Vietnam was deeply flawed, and that more emphasis should have been placed on attacking the Communist cadres that organized and ran terrorist operations in the villages. Eventually Gormley became commander of SEAL Team 6 and helped to capture the hijackers of the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro in 1985.
